What data will I require?
You will need to supply basic personal information as well as details of residential and employment history from the last 10 years, birth certificate information, any criminal convictions, CCJs and education history.
You will also be required to submit a copy of :
• Driver’s license
• Passport or birth certificate
• Proof of address (e.g. utility bill, driving license)
• Certificates of qualifications.
How do I submit my supporting documentation?

I don't want my employment reference confirmed just yet. How do I highlight this?
Instructions can be found on the Employment tabs to highlight this. Please make sure to let us know when you are happy for us to contact your Employment Reference.
Do I need to complete it all at one time?
Yes - you will need to submit the whole form at one time.
Will my data be used for any other purpose or sold?
No - the data collected on your forms will be used for the purpose of the background check only. All data will be treated confidentially and will not be sold.
Can I receive a copy of my report?
Yes – under the Data protection Act you are able to request a copy of your report with an administration fee of £10.00..
How do I know the person running my EU Background Check is trustworthy?
All work carried out by EU Background is done internally, we do not use sub-contractors. We can therefore be assured of the calibre of our employees carrying out these checks. All employees are background checked themselves to Enhanced Level.
